Fall is coming! We’re just one week away from unveiling the new Fall Collection online—but as always, you’re first in line. These new designs are available in the Studio NOW for anyone ready for a first look.
STRATA is rooted in the natural and the timeless—organic materials hammered and hand-shaped into bold wearable art with a nod to the past. In my dream world, this collection would be photographed on windswept cliffs or sunlit canyons. It deserves that! But as always, my taste is much more expensive than my budget, and this year—more than ever—has called for creativity in every part of running my small business. It’s been a tough one.
As many of you know, I wear many hats—jewelry designer, photographer, graphic artist, even bookkeeper (ugh). The irony is not lost on me that I turned to technology this season to help bring my earthy vision of our handmade jewelry to life. I’ve been teaching myself to use AI, just for fun (I geek out on things like this!), and it struck me that I could use it to showcase this collection in a surprising and beautiful way. It’s been a lot more work than I expected, but also incredible to see what’s possible. I certainly don’t have it all figured out —and I don’t plan for this to be my new normal—but one thing I’ve learned is never say never. For now, this new technology has been a surprisingly inspiring creative tool to tell the story of STRATA.
I feel a heavy sense of responsibility to create art no matter what. This season has been a reminder that artistry can take many forms. The world definitely needs more things that bring joy, but true magic happens through community. We need one another! The images I've created may be imagined, but rest assured—every single piece of jewelry is very, very real and made especially for you. These unique designs won't be available long — add one (or more) of these lovely pieces to your collection this fall. You'll never regret bringing more beauty into your life.
