How Are You? I Miss You!
Wow, it's already week four of quarantine. How are you? I’m trying my best to stay positive and hope that you are too. Some days are easier than others!
March started off with a bang, but it's amazing how quickly things changed. Our new EDEN collection had just launched and the calendar was filled with trunk shows through May. After seven years, I know how you shop and have learned to plan accordingly. Spring shows typically get us through the slow months of summer. We were in a good place. But then COVID-19 reared it’s ugly head. We locked the door on March 16 with plans to keep working, but officially closed the Studio the following week to do our part to protect our community. And now it's Easter! This nasty virus has attacked our world physically, emotionally and financially in ways that no one could have possibly predicted. I pray that you and your family are safe and healthy!
I had every intention of sending out a weekly email while we're closed, but last week got away from me. I was busy soaking up all I could find about the CARES Act Paycheck Protection Program. Anjy and Edward are my family and literally the hands of ME, so my focus has been on how best to take care of them. I got my application in first thing Friday and am grateful for this forgivable loan to help cover expenses over the next two months.
