Please call, fax or email mclaine@margaretellisjewelry.com to place an order. Indicate if a P.O. # is necessary for the order. Please let ME know if you have any special requests (i.e. post vs. clip back, clear backs for threader earrings, etc.) when you place your order. All clip earrings have cushion backs.

We will contact you by phone or email if we have any questions or your order cannot be completed or is delayed for any reason. 

ORDER CHANGES | CANCELLATION

Since each ME piece is made to order, all changes or cancellations must be made within 48 hours of order. Please call the Studio or email any requested changes to your order to mclaine@margaretellisjewelry.com. We are happy to make changes as long as your order is not already in production. 

CUSTOM ORDERS

We specialize in custom orders. Most items can be altered according to your specifications, but there may be an additional cost. Most ME pieces can be made in 18k or 22k gold too. Pricing is available upon request. Please call the Studio or email mclaine@margaretellisjewelry.com to discuss personalized pieces. Custom items cannot be refunded, returned or exchanged since they were made specifically for you.

payment

Orders are invoiced upon shipment and 30 days are extended for payment to approved accounts. We prefer payment by check, but will gladly process your payment by credit card with a 3% surcharge (NEW POLICY). We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. If late payment becomes an issue, we will request that orders be paid  C.O.D.

SALES TAX 

Wholesale orders for resell are not charged sales tax. A tax-exempt form is required to be on file for all active accounts. Please insure that we have up to date tax info on file for your company.

DELIVERY TIME

Each piece of ME jewelry is custom made to order in our Nashville studio. Your purchase will ship within two weeks of ordering or at your requested delivery date unless you are notified otherwise. If you are in a rush, please call us and we will do our best to get the order out sooner. Orders may take longer during peak times and holidays.

SHIPPING 

Orders are processed and shipped via UPS from our Nashville Studio. We are not responsible for packages that are lost or damaged in transit. Please double check your billing and shipping address when placing your order. Insurance is included in our standard shipping unless otherwise requested.

The buyer is responsible for customs and import duties levied by the receiving country for all international orders. 

PACKAGING 

We include a ME flannel storage bag with each piece of jewelry in your order unless you have specifically asked that they not be sent.

DAMAGED ITEMS 

Any item that arrives damaged will be repaired or replaced at no cost. Claims must be made within 5 business days of receipt by phone or at help@margaretellisjewelry.com.

EXPECT VARIATIONS

Because our work is made by hand, each piece is unique, and there may be slight variations from piece to piece. That is the beauty of artisan jewelry. We use natural stones and cultured fresh water pearls, which can have slight variations in surface, size and color. No two pieces are exactly alike.

Measurements stated in the descriptions are length x width x height but may vary slightly from piece to piece.

 

 

 

 

 

 

RETURN POLICY

We want you to love our jewelry, but we do not offer any refunds. It was made just for you. If you aren’t 100% happy, please notify us at returns@margaretellisjewelry.com within 5 business days of receiving your order to arrange an exchange or store credit on other ME items. All returns/exchanges must be pre-approved and no RA # is necessary for ME.

Shipping charges are non-refundable and ME is not responsible for return shipping. Please pack the merchandise in the original package if possible and return pre-paid and insured.

STORE CREDIT

Store credit is issued in the amount of the original purchase (excluding shipping) and is available for immediate use toward any item and does not expire.

REPAIRS | CLEANING

Please call the Studio to discuss a repair. ME will gladly repair normal wear and tear issues incurred such as broken post or clip backs or broken string at no charge.

We can also clean jewelry for you, but you are responsible for all shipping costs.

Other repair charges are dependent on the repair required and current metal prices. There will be a charge to make a mate, lost pieces/stones, sizing a ring or self-inflicted damages (i.e. dropping your ring in the garbage disposal). 

REPAIR/CLEANING CHARGES

Omega Back - $15 per pair
Alteration to Original Design After Delivery - estimated piece by piece
Ring Sizing - no initial charge for sizing or charge for stretching. $50 minimum if size changes after one year                                               
Cleaning - No charge for up to 5 pieces at a time. $20 minimum for larger number of pieces to be cleaned.

SUGGESTED JEWELRY CARE 

Each piece of ME jewelry is hand-crafted and deserves careful handling. We recommend that customers clean jewelry with a polishing cloth and store it in our flannel bag to prevent tarnish and scratches. Avoid contact with chemicals from perfume, hairspray, lotion, etc. Always remove jewelry before washing to prevent soap build up. It is beneficial to wear your jewelry often. The natural oils in your skin help to keep your jewelry clean and conditioned. Bright silver may require additional cleaning with the use of a tarnish removing polish. We recommend having your pearls professionally cleaned.

PRIVACY 

We respect your right to privacy. We collect and use your information to complete your order or to communicate with you about your order if needed. We will also add your to our email list.

We are committed to protecting the security of our customers' personal information. Under absolutely no circumstances will we sell, loan, rent, trade or release your personal information to a third party.
