Falling for Local Fashion: October What to Wear, NFA-Style

Fall is far and away our favorite season to shop and we’ve heard from local stores around town that it’s their favorite time to sell. Autumn inventory provides more options for fashion — denim, boots, vests, long-sleeve tops, coats, scarves, bags and more. There are more pieces to layer with and, subsequently, more possibilities for showing off your own signature look.
For this month’s “What to Wear” article, we’re excited to partner with the Nashville Fashion Alliance (NFA) to showcase the works of designers and artisans from right here in Nashville. Members of the NFA team selected gorgeous looks and accessories to best highlight as much of the talented NFA community as possible. Our models were the lovely Stephanie Gonis, Nina Thomas, Cara Jackson and Julia Dyer who modeled looks for the NFA’s upcoming weekend of festivities, which include The Reclamation, VIP Preview for The Wardrobe Project and The Wardrobe Project market. Make plans to attend these events, as well as the Nashville Opera’s Don Giovanni at TPACand the Franklin Wine Festival. It will be a busy month of fun activities and you won’t want to miss the opportunity to show off a few new, locally designed looks!
Nina looks lovely in her LBD. This is one of those enviable dress-up, dress-down pieces as the fabric is jersey but the cut is formal enough to wear to the Opera.
