- After appearing on "Sex and the City" our jewelry
had a nice part in "The Devil Wears Prada" as well.

- The most exciting news from our studio is that we have a great new employee, Mclaine Richardson. She came in as an apprentice to help out during the holidays, and was so great we had to keep her. Mclaine went to college at Furman University, majoring in art and business. During her senior year she spent a semester in Florence, Italy studying art at Lorenzo de Medici. She is smart, fun, and a joy to have around.

Because of our excellent studio and webstore sales during the months
of May and June we were able to generously contribute 10% of our sales to the Community Foundation for Metro Nashville Flood Relief.
- ICONS AND MUSES
I have been doing a series of photos for my ads using women who remind me of my sources of inspiration. My photo for August is the great rocker, Patti Smith, using Jaclyn Khoury as the model. Many thanks to Randy Little for a fantasic job on her make-up.
This series isn't really a"look-alike" project, but more of a fantasy, "play dress-up" project.
- NEW DESIGNS
As we enjoy the pleasures of summer, our studio is in the midst of working on new designs for the August market. I am going forward with wonderful baroque pearls, and doing a new group in dark sterling silver with black spinels and druzy quartz. My favorite muse, Jill Pullen, calls it the Rock Star collection. I guess you'd say a little bit sophisticated, a little bit rock and roll.
